In July 2018 ACOD has already communicated about the new career policy for contractual scientific staff that had been approved by the Board of Governors. Since, during autumn 2018, the specific modalities of this new policy have also been developed. Intense and constructive consultation between university management and the trade unions has resulted in an unanimous agreement on the new regulations for contractual scientific staff that have been formally approved by the Board of Governors onFriday February 1st 2019, as has been confirmed to us at the staff negotiations committee (POC).
As soon as the final text of the formally approved regulations for contractual scientific staff will be available you will be able to consult it on our website together with a detailed explanation (in English) of the career path and the specific modalities (including transition of existing contracts) for each group of contractual scientific staff under the new policy.
